Great news; it only takes a few clicks (and a little thoughtfulness) to send Loop & Tie gifts. Here's how to get started.
Start by logging into your Loop & Tie portal. Click 'Send Gifts' on the top righthand side of your screen to launch the send-a-gift workflow.

1. Pick a collection
In the first step of the send-a-gift workflow, 'Gift,' you'll choose the collection you'd like to send.
All Loop & Tie marketplace gifts are part of gift collections— you send the entire collection, and your recipient chooses which item from within it they'd like to redeem.
By offering your recipient the gift of choice, they're more likely to get a gift they'll really love (and think of you every time they see it).
Here's how to pick a collection:

Start with a budget. Every Loop & Tie collection has an associated price point; this is the amount you'll spend per gift or recipient. Your recipient will never see this price, even if it's part of the collection name.

Choose a theme or send a wider mix. Collections are further curated by occasion, theme, and brand. If you want to send the most general selection of gifts, choose the "Loop & Tie Collection" at the price point you need from the "Gift collections curated for any budget & occasion" section
Once you've selected a collection, click 'Sent Collection.'
💡 If you're sending gifts to multiple recipients at once, they'll all receive the same collection. If you'd like to send gifts of different values to different recipients, you'll have to go through the send-a-gift workflow multiple times.
2. Design your gift email
The second step of the send-a-gift workflow is 'Email.'
First, choose a design for your email header. The Loop & Tie image library contains lots of themed and occasion based header designs for you to use.
To select one, just click on the design you like. The design you pick will be depicted on the email preview on the right side of the scrreen.
💡 If you'd like to upload your own header design instead, you'll need to upgrade to Essentials.
Next, add your gift message and signature by typing directly into the email preview on the right.
⚠️ If you're sending gifts to multiple people at once, they'll all receive the same message. To ensure your message is relevant to each of them, take advantage of the personalization tokens that appear on the lefthand side of the screen when you start typing your message.
The signature you add will be reflected as the 'From name' when your gift email is delivered. It's also automatically added to your subject line; this can be edited by clicking 'Email Settings' on the top right.
If you'd like to change your email CTA from 'Choose your gift' to a custom message, this can also be updated via 'Email Settings.'
When you're happy with your email, click 'Next' on the top right.
3. Design your redemption page
When a recipient clicks on your gift email, they'll land on your redemption page, where they'll pick their gift.
You have the ability to change the image that acts as your redemption page header; by default, it will reflect the same design you chose for your gift email.
If you'd like to pick a different image, hover over the header. A 'replace image' button will appear on the top right. From here, you can choose a different image from the Loop & Tie library.
If you'd like to shorten the height of your redemption page header image, hover over the image again. A 'drag to resize' handle will appear on the bottom of your image. Drag that handle up and down to change your image height.
If you need to re-center your design after changing its height, simply click on your image and drag it up or down to center it in frame.
When you're happy with your redemption page header, click 'Next' on the top right.
4. Add your recipients
In the recipient stage of the send-a-gift workflow, you'll add the name and email address of the person you're sending a gift to.
If you'd like to send to multiple people at once, click 'Add Recipient' beneath the 'Enter Name' field to add another line. You can do this up to 500 times.
💡 If you'd like to upload your recipient list by spreadsheet instead, you'll need to upgrade to Essentials.
By default, your 'Deliver On' date will be set to today/the day you're sending gifts. If you'd like to schedule them for later instead, click on this field and choose a new date from the calendar that appears. You can schedule gifts to send any time, whether your occasion is tomorrow or in two years.
You can also edit your gift expiration in this step by clicking 'Gift Expiration' next to the clear button.
By default, gifts expire 1 year after they're sent.
If a gift isn't claimed, we'll credit your account in the amount you spent on that gift. If you'd like to recycle your credits frequently, you can set your gift expiration to as little as 1 month after your gift is sent, limiting the time your recipients have to redeem their gift, but making your credits available sooner.
Once you've added your recipients, confirmed your send dates, and set your gift expiration timeline, click 'Next' on the top right.
5. Review your email and redemption page
In the 'Review' step of the send a gift workflow, you have the option to preview your gift email and redemption page to make sure everything looks good before finalizing your send. Simply click 'Preview Redemption' or 'Preview Email.'
If you're happy with how everything looks, click 'Next' on the top right.
6. Check out
In they 'Pay' stage of the send a gift workflow, you'll finalize your payment.
Note that a flat-rate, $5 shipping charge will be added to all gifts, unless you choose to upgrade to one of our subscription plans.
To do so, you'll need to add a payment method, or credit card.
📝 Tip: When you pay through Loop & Tie, you pay through Stripe, one of the most common and most secure payment gateways available on the web.
Once you've added a payment method, click 'Pay.'
⚠️ Clicking pay will complete your purchase; if you chose today as your send date, your gifts will be deployed immediately. If you scheduled them for later, they'll send on the date(s) you picked in the recipient stage.
