How do I change my gift email header image?

Whether you're using Loop & Tie's design library or uploading a custom card, it's easy to make your gift emails feel a little more 'you.'

Specs for custom email header designs

For Free Accounts: 

1. Start sending a gift by clicking 'Send Gifts' in your Loop & Tie portal, 'Send a Gift' on the Loop & Tie website, or from the 'Collections' tab of the Loop & Tie website. Then, choose a collection to send. 

2. In the 'email' tab of the 'send a gift' flow, you'll have the option to choose an image from Loop & Tie's design library. Scroll through the lefthand panel to view your full range of options. Once you've selected a design, click on it to add it to your gift email.

Edit Image Button3. If you'd like to choose a different image, simply click on a different card from the lefthand panel.

If you've begun typing your message and the image library no longer appears on the lefthand panel, click the 'edit image' button on the bottom right corner of your gift email preview. This will reopen the design library on the lefthand side. 

4. If you prefer to use a GIF as your gift email header, you can do so by clicking on the 'Giphy' tab of the lefthand panel menu. This will allow you to browse and add any GIF from the giphy library.

5. Once you've selected your header design, click 'Next' to move forward to the 'Redemption' stage. 


💡 Want to upload your own card images? Upgrade to Essentials to build your own design library. In your portal, go to Account Settings —> Billing --> Manage Plan --> Update Plan to upgrade. 


For Essentials, Premium, and Enterprise Accounts: 

1. Start sending a gift by clicking 'Send Gifts' in your Loop & Tie portal, 'Send a Gift' on the Loop & Tie website, or from the 'Collections' tab of the Loop & Tie website. Then, choose a collection to send. 

2. In the 'email' tab of the 'send a gift' flow, you'll have three options for styling your gift email header:

A. Use a design from the Loop & Tie Design Library

B. Use a GIF from the Giphy library

C. Upload your own design 

A. Use a design from the Loop & Tie Design Library. 

1. In the 'Loop & Tie' tab of the lefthand panel, scroll to view all available design options. Once you've selected a design, click on it to add it to your gift email.

3. If you'd like to choose a different image, simply click on a different card from the lefthand panel.

B. Use a GIF from the Giphy library

1. If you prefer to use a GIF as your gift email header, you can do so by clicking on the 'Giphy' tab of the lefthand panel menu. This will allow you to browse and add any GIF from the giphy library.

2. If you'd like to choose a different GIF, simply click on your preferred GIF from the lefthand panel; this will update your email preview on the right. If you want to go back to a static design, choose the 'Loop & Tie' tab on top of the lefthand panel to return to the card library. 

C. Upload your own design

1. To add your own design, click the 'My Library' tab on the top of the lefthand panel menu, then click 'Upload New Image'

2. Drag an image from your desktop into the upload screen, or click 'Upload Image' to browse and select images from your device.

3. Choose the image you prefer from your local device, then click 'Open'

4. Your upload will complete and automatically assign the new design to your gift email. You can choose a different image from your library, the Loop & Tie library, or Giphy any time.

5. Once a design is uploaded to your library, it will remain there for use in future gift sends until you delete it. 


💡 Your custom images will look best if they're designed at our recommended image size, 2400 x 1368px. We allow any image format; .jpg, .png, .tiff, .svg and even .gif.
