How do I send gifts with custom packaging?

This article will cover sending gifts with custom packaging bundles you have already created

You are able to see the statuses of any custom packaging bundles you have already submitted on the "Custom Packaging" tab in your Loop & Tie account:

Once the status of a submitted bundle updates to "Ready", that bundle is ready to be included with an eligible collection in your next gift send.

To use custom packaging:

  1. Click "Send Gift" from the three-dot menu next to a bundle with status: "Ready":


    1. You can also initiate a send as usual using the "Send Gifts" button in the header of your main dashboard page
    2. Users who have custom packaging bundles with the status "Ready" will see a page that asks if they want to send with custom packaging before proceeding
      1. Selecting "Yes, send custom packaging" directs the user to the "Custom Packaging Collections" tab (see below); selecting "No, thanks" directs the user to the "Marketplace" tab as normal
  2. Select a collection from the "Custom Packaging Collections" tab in the Send a Gift flow: 
    1. Note: The "Custom Packaging Collections" tab will not appear until you have at least one custom packaging bundle with the status "Ready"
    2. Because not every item in a Loop & Tie marketplace collection is compatible with custom packaging fulfillment, "Custom Packaging" collections are slightly pared-down versions of our standard marketplace collections at the same price points
    3. You must select a custom packaging bundle from the available dropdown to send a collection from the "Custom Packaging Collections" tab:
  3. Confirm that the right custom packaging bundle is attached to the gift send in the "Review" stage of the Send a Gift flow:
