Getting Started with the Contacts Hub

The Contacts Hub is your new home base for managing the people you gift. Whether no matter the occasion, Contacts makes it easier to organize, segment, and connect with the people who matter most.

🔍 What is the Contacts Hub?

The Contacts Hub is a centralized place to store, manage, and organize your recipients—so you can spend less time wrangling spreadsheets and more time making connections through gifting. Instead of thinking in terms of individual gifts, you can now start with the people you want to reach and build your gifting strategy around them.

✨ What You Can Do with Contacts

• Upload contacts in bulk using a CSV file
• Add contacts individually as needed
• Sync with your HRIS platform to automatically pull in up-to-date employee data
• Create custom lists based on any criteria—location, department, milestone date, etc.
• Quickly launch gifts from any list

🚀 How to Access the Contacts Hub

1. Log in to your Loop & Tie account
2. In the left-hand navigation, click on Contacts:
   
3. You’ll land in the Contacts Hub, where you can start uploading or syncing your people

📥 Uploading Contacts

To upload a list of contacts:

1. Click the Upload Contacts button in the right corner.
2. Choose your CSV file (make sure it includes name and email address fields)
3. Match your columns to the appropriate fields
4. Click Import.
   

To add a contact manually:

1. Click Add Contact
   
2. Fill in the details: Name, Email, and any custom tags or notes
3. Click Save.

🔁 Integrating Your HRIS

If you're a subscriber to Premium or Enterprise, or you've purchased the HRIS Integration add on, you can integrate your HRIS platform (like Gusto, BambooHR, or others), to automatically sync employee data.

Here's how to get started: 

1. In the Contacts Hub, click Connect HRIS
   
2. Choose your platform and follow the authentication steps
3. Once connected, contacts will auto-sync regularly—no manual uploads required.

🗂 Organizing Contacts into Lists

Want to send a gift to all your employees with a workiversary in July? Or everyone on the West Coast team? You can build a list:

1. In the Contacts Hub, click Create List
   
2. Name your list and set any filters (by tag, date, location, etc.)
3. Add contacts from your database manually or with rules
4. Save your list and use it as your starting point for sending gifts

🎁 Gifting from a List

1. Navigate to any contact list
2. Click Send Gift
   
3. Choose your collection and compose your message
4. Schedule or send right away—it’s that easy
